The museum in Aylesbury has a small lacemaking section as a permanent exhibition, most of which is comprised of lacemaking equipment.  The majority of the lace they have in their collection is kept at the Museum Resource Centre at Halton, 5 miles south west of Aylesbury.  The centre is an old school, and set aside is a room for study purposes.  Laces include Bucks, Beds plus some foreign examples 17th – 19th Century Flemish, Russian, Italian, Irish and Austrian, also a box of samples with details of prices and makers names.
